Join the AI Explorers: Engineering Tech-a-thon!
The AI Explorers: Engineering Tech-a-thon offers secondary school students a unique opportunity to experience university-level learning in a collaborative and inspiring environment. This immersive program is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to tackle real-world challenges and prepare for the HK AI Innovator Summit competition.

Program Highlights

  • University-Like Learning:  Engage in cross-disciplinary instruction from experienced professors across various departments, ensuring a well-rounded educational experience.

  • Hands-On Exploration: Participate in bi-weekly workshops that provide practical insights into AI applications across different engineering fields. Each month, a new theme will be introduced, featuring lectures and project showcases from various departments.

  • Collaborative Projects: Students will have the opportunity to work on small projects that encourage teamwork and creativity. Collaborate with students from other schools to enhance their learning experience and broaden their network.

AI Explorers:
Engineering Tech-a-thon

The immersive AI training program at City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) offers secondary school students a unique chance to engage in authentic university-level learning, modeled after undergraduate courses. 

Students enrolled in this program will exhibit their advanced AI competencies through competitive team participation in the distinguished Hong Kong AI Innovators Summit scheduled in mid-July 2026 with the opportunity to win awards and distinction for their schools.
